JOHN OUTRIDGE
Chief Executive Officer, Trinidad & Tobago International Financial Centre
Mr. John Outridge joined the T&T IFC as its Chief Executive Officer on in August 2021.
He is responsible for leading the company as it executes its mandate of driving digital financial services adoption across all sectors so Trinidad and Tobago can maintain its position as the Financial Hub of the region and becomes a premier location for FinTech-enabled services.
Mr. Outridge has over 10 years senior management experience and he has supported both public and private sector institutions with strategic guidance on fintech strategies as well as the modernization of public financial management systems for various Governments throughout the region.
He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of Digital Transformation, Payment Systems and Electronic Funds Transfer Implementation, Strategy and Operating Model Design for state enterprises and Financial Services Organizations, Fintech and Neo Bank Strategies and Electronic Funds Transfer Policy Development.
He holds a Master of Small and Medium Enterprise Management (distinction) from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and lectures on programmes relating to digital and technology management for the University of Bedforshire (UK.)
John also is Deputy Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMTT), Digital transformation subcommittee focused on supporting national policy development for Trinidad and Tobago as it relates to enabling technology to facilitate both the ease of doing business as well as enhancing citizen service delivery.
